These can be full-color - such as photographs - and can extend to the edges of textiles or objects. No complicated and expensive preparations precede printing, so it is also suitable for smaller orders. Direct-to-garment, or DTG, is a printing method that sprays the ink onto the garment. The main advantage of DTG is that it’s easy to print one-offs because there’s almost no setup time, however it can fade over time and requires more care when washing. Embossing is a colorless technology for branding advertising items made of leather, PU leather, paper, or textiles. The embossing offers two variants - blind embossing and folio embossing. When using blind embossing, the resulting motifs have a slightly darker color than the surrounding material. Embroidery looks professional and gives the garment a more solid feel. Embroidery is long lasting and will not fade in the wash. For this reason, some argue that embroidery is a lot more cost effective than printing. The main difference between standard embroidery and 3D embroidery is that a foam material is fixed to the garment before the threads are then embroidered over the top. This gives a raised 3D effect that will give your brand even more visibility.

Embroidery appliqué incorporates a laser cut piece of fabric known as appliqué and is then combined with embroidery to achieve an eye catching design that really “pops”.

Plastisol heat transfers are screen printed with plastisol ink on a special release paper. Heat transfers are more economical compared to direct printing when there are only small quantities of garments to print, however the print itself has a distinct plastic-y feel to it, so it's only suited to isolated designs like on a cap, and not for use on an entire shirt or sweater.

Rotary Screen Printing is achieved by forcing ink through a fine mesh screen with a squeegee onto the product and is ideal for cylindrical objects. Close PMS matches are possible on white or light-coloured products, though each colour requires its own setup charge.

Screen printing is best suited for printing promotional items with smooth and flat surfaces, such as textiles, paper, and plastic bags. It also prints on round objects such as promotional mugs, stationery, bottles, and more. Screen printing is not suitable for full-color images with color gradients (like photographs, for example). Screen printing can print motifs with up to 8 colors. Provides the best durability of print and allows for super solid and opaque colours. It's also the most cost effective option for runs greater than 25 units. Sublimation printing uses heat to essentially bring ink and fabric together as one. The process is almost like a tattoo, but instead of for your skin, it’s for your chosen product. The result is a permanent, full colour image that won’t crack, peel or wash away from the substrate. Only suitable for garments that include polyester (100% polyester or polyester blend).
